Enjoying a restful South American vacation, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted hanging out with a few fans and posing for pictures at the GaleĆ£o Airport earlier this week. The “High School Musical” hotties looked to be having a marvelous time as they thanked their loyal admirers by taking a few moments out of their holiday to stop and chat. Zanessa will be reportedly continuing their time in Brazil for a few more days before heading back home to LA on Sunday (February 8). In related news, it seems Zac may have an ‘older’ admirer in his “17 Again” co-star Melora Hardin. The “Office” babe told press that they had plenty of playful banter while working together. “Zac — he’s dreamy, truly dreamy. I did say to him one day that if he were my age and I were single, he’d be in lots of trouble. He told me I didn’t have to be single. No, he told me I didn’t have to be his age — all I had to be was single! I don’t think he minds an older woman.” She continued, “We were joking around, of course. Zac has a girlfriend. I have a husband that I love very much. It was cute. We were having fun.”

Zac Efron Jets Out of LAX
One day after his lady took flight, Zac Efron was spotted passing through LAX airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (February 3). The “High School Musical" hunk looked sporty in his fedora, offering up a quick smile before heading to the security checkpoint. The departure comes after a short stay in Los Angeles following Zac’s return from Tokyo for the final stop in the “High School Musical 3” promotions. The 21-year-old now looks forward to the filming of his new movie “Footloose,” which is being directed by HSM’s Kenny Ortega.
Vanessa Hudgens: LAX Jet-Setter
Making her way out of town,Vanessa Hudgens was spotted leaving Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California on Monday (February 2). The “High School Musical" hottie looked to be in high spirits, sporting her black “Peace” t-shirt, blue leggings and koolaburra boots as she smiled upon entering the terminal. Meanwhile, it sounds as if Miss Hudgens will be waiting awhile if she plans on joining in on the “Twilight” series - as the character she auditioned for doesn’t get involved until the third installment. Sceenwriter Melissa Rosenberg tells, “I’m not sure about [final] casting but I had heard Vanessa Hudgens was going up for the part of Leah [Clearwater, a werewolf]. But at the moment, the part of Leah doesn’t happen until the third movie".
Vanessa Hudgens: No New Moon?
With all of the buzz surrounding the upcoming sequel “New Moon,” it seems everyone wants to get in on the action. Even Vanessa Hudgens has auditioned for a part, though she may not be involved this time around. According to screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, “I’m not sure about [final] casting but I had heard Vanessa Hudgens was going up for the part of Leah [Clearwater, a werewolf]. But at the moment, the part of Leah doesn’t happen until the third movie". Rosenberg continued, “Well, you know Taylor Lautner will be back as Jacob Black. I can tell you the original cast will all be coming back. They’re on set right now, in Vancouver! They’re all up there prepping the movie to start shooting very soon.” And with a new director (Chris Weitz replaced Catherine Hardwicke), “New Moon” is poised for greatness. Rosenberg added, “Chris Weitz directed The Golden Compass, which was a beautiful-looking film. And I think it’s wonderful we have someone who has worked with CGI animals ... that will be a big part of New Moon. I’m delighted we have someone who’s so expert at that.”
Vanessa Hudgens: Showroom Shopper
Happy to be back home from a recent trip to Tokyo, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted paying a visit to a clothes showroom in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 31). Covering her face with a cute fedora, the Disney starlet then opted to take care of her errands stocking up on a few items at a local grocery store. In related news, fans in the UK will soon be seeing the release of Miss Hudgens’ second solo album “Identified” next month. Although Vanessa first released the album in June 2008 in the US, a UK version will be available on February 16, which also includes three new bonus songs.
