It looks like his big paychecks are starting to come in handy, and Zac Efron, made sure to make a statement with his recent housewarming gift for girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. The “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” stud reportedly shelled out $50,000 on a swanky vintage Louis Vuitton steamer trunk to go with his sweetie’s new $3 million house. A source close to the couple told press, “Vanessa loves Louis Vuitton, but she wouldn’t spend the money for it.” But thanks to her hunky boyfriend, she didn’t have to drop a dime. The source also explained that, to Miss Hudgens, it’s way more than just an old piece of furniture. “To her, it’s a piece of art.”

High School Musical 3 Melbourne Premeire

They’ve been working overtime to bring their hit movie “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” to as many fans as possible. And earlier today Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale were in Melbourne, Australia. And there certainly wasn’t a shortage of interest in the big premiere as over 1500 screaming fans showed up to welcome the Disney darlings to the Village Jam Factory. With such far-reaching success, Vanessa confessed she’s taken aback by the success of the HSM films. She told press, “It’s very overwhelming. It’s incredible though, the fans are so amazing.” Zac added, “I love being a part of High School Musical. I wish I could do it forever, but everyone’s got to grow up. I’d love to try it all. I’ll see where the wind takes me.”

High School Musical 3 Premieres in Sydney

Looking ever-so-classy, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale, attended the premiere of “High School Musical 3” at the Greater Union George Street Cinemas in Sydney, Australia on Monday (November 10). Joined by director Kenny Ortega and Barry Rosenbush, the Disney co-stars happily posed side-by-side while greeting their avid Aussie fans. Earlier in the day, the HSM3 trio all attended a big photocall at the Sydney Opera House in advance of the premiere.

Disney trio, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale were spotted taking in some of the sights of Sydney on Sunday (November 9) ahead of the Australian premiere of the hit movie “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”. The young stars all headed out for a water taxi cruise along the Circular Quay Wharf before dining at the Catalina Rose Bay restaurant, with the meal followed up by a little retail therapy at Ksubi. The third installment of the popular Disney teen series opens up in theaters Down Under on December 4, with the premiere going down tonight at George St Greater Union and on Wednesday (November 12) at Melbourne’s Village Jam Factory. Ready for the chaos, Disney has reportedly hired 28 security guards and notified local police to make sure that the avid fans keep under control.

HSM Stars Head Down Under

Just when we thought they were all done with their massive promotional tour, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale were all spotted heading to Australia. The “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” hotties looked a bit worn out as they arrived at LAX International Airport in preparation to fly out last night (November 7). Vanessa, Ashley, and Zac will be spending the next few days premiering the film as well as giving their Aussie fans plenty of opportunities to see them at various promotional appearances. Of her HSM co-stars, Miss Tisdale recently told FOX Pop Tarts how much she enjoys seeing their love for each other. “I’m a total romantic, I loved watching romantic comedies growing up like ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’ and so obviously, like, I just love watching Zac and Vanessa because it is such a sweet and romantic relationship so of course you’re like, ‘aww’ whenever they kiss and everything. But just watching them on set is really awesome, it’s beautiful.”
