Vanessa Hudgens Talks “Bandslam”

As she prepares for her departure from “High School Musical” Vanessa Hudgens says playing a rocker in “Bandslam” wasn’t as natural as everyone may think. The brunette babe told press, “It was awkward for me. I don’t do rock… that’s not my thing.” But in the end it helped her make the performance more believable. Hudgens explained, “My awkwardness-ish worked for the character because she’s supposed to be really shy and she still owns it. Hopefully, that’s what I did.” Regarding her own personal style, Vanessa says “It depends on the day,” calling her look “bohemian mixed with tribal mixed with rocker-ish… I’m all over the place.”

Zac Efron: Charlie St. Cloud Stud

Hard at work on his latest project, Zac Efron was spotted on the set of “The Death And Life Of Charlie St Cloud” in Vancouver, Canada. The “17 Again” stud was dressed casually as he hopped aboard a docked ship while mingling with set workers in between shooting a few scenes. With Kim Basinger lined up to play his mother in the new flick, Zac has previously expressed how excited he is to be moving away from the world of musical films. He said, “I’m not doing anything to drastically to try and change up my image. But I do need to keep things interesting for myself. And grow up. ... I still make very family-friendly films. I’m not involved with the next ‘Trainspotting’ sequel or anything like that.”

Dane Cook Talks Hudgens Teen Choice Comment

We all know about the latest Vanessa Hudgens nude picture scandal as a result of an Internet leak last week. And at Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, Dane Cook let an off-color comment fly about the incident. While onstage at the Gibson Amphitheatre, the “Employee of the Month” funnyman quipped, “Vanessa Hudgens! Girl, you gots to keep your clothes! Phones are for phone calls, girl!” At that point, the camera panned to Hudgens who was visibly less-than-pleased. As a result, FOX cut the moment from Monday night’s airing of the show. Cook explained, “That’s the best part about being a comic when you go, ‘Maybe I can say the thing that everybody is kind of feeling and nobody [is saying].’ The elephant in the room moment. So, I’ll take it, I’ll take the hit. It’s okay.”

They’re no strangers to a travel-intensive lifestyle and last night (August 9) Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted making a late-night arrival in Vancouver, Canada. The “High School Musical” hotties looked a bit tuckered out as they made their way through the Vancouver Airport, plagued with autograph-seeking fans as they headed toward their waiting car. Earlier in the evening, both Zac and Vanessa were spotted looking fabulous at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles. And Mr. Efron had some serious hardware to take home from the gig, as he won Choice Movie Rockstar Moment, Choice Movie Actor Comedy, and Choice Movie Actor Music/Dance.

It just wouldn't be the Teen Choice Awards without out them, and earlier tonight (August 9th), Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron both made seprate arrivales at the 2009 TCAs in Universal City. The HSM lovers both gave the crowd outside the Gibson Amphitheatre quiet a thrill as they walked down the green carpet prior to the show. Vanessa was looking picture perfect as usual, sporting a sexy mini blue minidress with matching heels. Zaqc showed off his clean cut look in a blue button up shirt and black wash jeans with Converse All-Stars.

Meanwhile, Vanessa is curnently gearing up for a walk down the red carpet at tonights Teen Choice Awards. Scheduled to attend alongside her hunk HSM beau Zac Efron, Nessa finds herslef running for Choice Movie: Music/Dance, Choice Female Hotties and Choice Movie Actress for awards.
