Vanessa Hudgens Jets Back to Vancouver

Finished up with a short visit back home to Los Angeles, Vanessa Hudgens was in high spirits as she made her way to LAX Airport on Sunday (September 27). The Disney damsel was on her way to catch an outbound flight for Vancouver - where she’ll be continuing work on her new project, “Sucker Punch”. As previously reported, Miss Hudgens spent the previous day at the Neutrogena Fresh Faces Music Benefit. There alongside “Heroes” hottie Hayden Panettiere, the twosome posed for pictures and mingled with guests at the Jim Henson Studios event.

Stepping out for a good cause, Vanessa Hudgens and Hayden Panettiere were side-by-side at the Neutrogena Fresh Faces Music Benefit in Hollywood on Saturday (September 26). Put on by VH1’s Save The Music Foundation and held at Jim Henson Studios, the “High School Musical” hottie and her “Heroes” pal posed for pictures and mingled with attendees while taking part in the afternoon festivities. Meanwhile, you can catch Miss Panettiere in an all-new episode of her hit show “Heores” when it airs tomorrow night (September 28) at 8PM on NBC. Per the show’s Web site, the latest installment is titled “ink” and sees “Nathan retrieve a fateful memory while Claire’s secret comes to light.”

Though she became a household name thanks to her Disney contract, Vanessa Hudgens is now desperately trying to shed her teen idol image. The “High School Musical” babe told press that she’s ready to move on to a more adult career with new and challenging roles. “People think of me as the High School Musical girl. There’s nothing wrong with that. My character was a great role model, but I get so bored doing the same thing. I want to grow like everybody else.” Vanessa also explained how frustrating it is when people continually bring up her nude photo scandal. “It’s just really unfortunate, and to this day people hate me for it, but it’s not like I chose to put that out there in the world. It’s so aggravating and frustrating, and whenever anybody asks me, would I do nudity in a film, if I say that it’s something I’m not comfortable with, they’re like, ‘Bulls**t, you’ve already done it.’ If anything it makes it more embarrassing, because that was a private thing. It’s screwed up that someone screwed me over like that. At least some people are learning from my mistakes.”

Zac Efron: Hard at Work in Vancouver

Still plugging away at his latest project, Zac Efron was spotted on his way to the set of “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud” yesterday (September 8). The “High School Musical” stud looked sporty as he enjoyed a boat ride to the film set in Vancouver, Canada, wearing a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. As for the rumors that Zac and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens are headed for a split, Efron’s rep says it’s all completely false. Earlier this month, a supposed inside source told tabloids, “The pressures of fame and the fact they are not working together any more has really taken its toll. They are both so busy with their individual projects and Zac finds it hard to cope with all the attention Vanessa gets from guys when he’s not around. They’re trying to make more time to see each other to work things out but right now it’s not going well.”

Focusing on his new film project, Zac Efron was spotted on the set of “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud” in Vancouver, Canada today (August 26). The “High School Musical” stud looked hunky as he filmed scenes with costar Charlie Tahan, sporting a white shirt with belted dark trousers and black shoes. In the film, Zac plays a character who mourns the death of his brother by working at the cemetery where his body is buried. And of course, there will be plenty of scenes where Efron goes shirtless, virtually guaranteeing a killing to be made at the box office when the movie opens next year.

Starting their weekend a day early, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Greene were spotted out and about in Vancouver last night (August 21). The "HSM" hottie and her "Twilight" gal pal seemed to be enjoying their girl time as paparazzi snapped plenty of photos. And it has been fortunate that both Vanessa and Ashley have found themselves in BC woring on their own recpective projects. This last weekend, they were seen dancing all night together at the Kings Of Leon concert at GM place, heading backstage with Vanesssa's boyfriend Zac Efron and the whole "Eclipse" cast after the show.

It sure seems like Vancouver is the hot spot for young Hollywood star sightings- not only is the cast of "Twilight" in town filming "Eclipse" but Vanessa Hudgens was spotted in the Canadian City yesterday. (August 16) The "High School Musical" Hottie looked cool and causal as she strolled back to her hotel with hunky guy pal Sterling King. Vanessa, whose movie "Bandslam" opened this past friday, is in town to train for her upcoming project "Sucker Punch".
