Celebrating her all-important 21st birthday in style, Vanessa Hudgens joined up with boyfriend Zac Efron for a night out in Hollywood, California on Monday (December 14). With a handful of her friends waiting inside the East Restaurant & Lounge Bar for the celebration, the birthday girl walked arm-in-arm through a back entrance with her “High School Musical” co-star beau. On the guest list, Ashley Tisdale was glammed up with a Chanel necklace and bag as she walked alongside boyfriend Scott Speer, while stars such as Selena Gomez, Monique Coleman and Chris Warren Jr. also turned up for the nighttime soiree. Clearly elated to be ringing in her good pal’s 21st, Tizzie tweeted before the shindig, “Its Nessa’s birthday!!! Yay! Goin shopping to get her a present. Woo hoo!”

And it comes as little surprise that Zac recently revealed that he isn’t all that keen on life in Tinseltown, as he told Britain’s Glamour magazine, “Living in Los Angeles is tough. Normality is so skewed and it’s not something your friends and family can relate to, nor is it even fun to talk about.” Continuing on about his residential preferences, Zac then tells, “I love the outdoors — there’s something about when there’s no one around that I’m drawn to.”

Drawing an end to their stay in Canada, Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were spotted touching down at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Friday night (December 11). Looking very much in love, the “High School Musical” co-star couple held hands as they briskly walked through the terminal after making the flight from Vancouver. Prior to returning home, Zanessa got the chance to play host and hostess of a dinner party for Vanessa’s “Sucker Punch” co-stars at Joe Fortes Seafood and Chop House. “They played musical chairs, going from table to table to speak with all their friends,” a source told People magazine, adding that the pair was also “very affectionate with each other.”

She celebrates her 21st birthday the Monday after next! Zac, 22, has been busy promoting his latest movie, Me & Orson Welles, in theaters now.
